new LabLit podcast!

From information overload to increasing worries about technological backlash, the drive to explain science to the public, and to make it more appealing to them, has never been stronger.

LabLit's second podcast is live! Meet science comedian Brian Malow and hear about all the latest in the world of LabLit, including a new lablit novel in the bookshops! A big thanks to rpg again for producing it.

The link i posted above was wrong, now corrected. Also, I should have mentioned you can also subscribe directly from iTunes - although at the moment the individual episodes aren't showing up in the LabLit podcast directory (I think it takes a few days for the feed to update).

Ep 1 isn't showing up due to a technical hitch. *cough*. We'll fix it.

This is way cool, folks. Keep it up. So will it be once a month then?

Who's voice does the intro?

...and with the piano intro, I have this image of Richard hunched over a baby-grand, hammering the ivories with Jenny stood nearby... kind of Fry & Laurie...

Ha ha. Definitely feeling that vibe, tiddles. Is it Gospel? Does this mean LabLit it a religion?

HAHAHA!

The intro is by Tania, who I'm keeping to myself. I have a signed copy of one of her books, too.

Unfortunately I don't play piano, but it's a nice image. This just shows that none of you bastards have listened all the way to the end ... credits.

We've made it easier to access our podcasts - each new one will be presented as a regular article, as in

http://www.lablit.com/article/510

Then it can stream directly from that page, or you can follow the links to subscribe via iTunes. Finally, if you click on the rss symbol on the main page, it gives information on how to get the podcast feed that way.

Much appreciated by your elder listener types! I did get a bit confused initially how to access it.
